Teresa Lorenco has been acting, singing and dancing since childhood, and comes from a performing family. Being the child of musical artists, she grew up backstage at the Boston Opera Company, then directed by Sarah Caldwell, and under a grand piano listening to voice lessons.
She attended Stagedoor Manor as a young girl for two summers, and thereafter modeled in Boston with Copley 7 during her adolecense. Music drew her away from modeling in the form of a band of gypsies, the Grateful Dead.
After settling in Vermont, Teresa acted in The Vagina Monologues, An American Machine, and worked with the well-loved Spielpalast Cabaret, a home grown group of Burlesque performers in Burlington Vermont. This is where Teresa discovered she was born to Burlesque. After three transforming years with Spielpalast, she fell in love with the outrageous sass of Burlesque, and its undertones of feminism and political satire.
After moving to Massachusetts in 2009, Teresa worked with the Majestic Theater in the production "Piecemeal", and then played Mary Magdelene in "Jesus Christ Superstar" at the Academy of Music in Northampton. She soon after met Nicole Rizzo and the magic began.
Teresa also writes original music, and is currently working on a CD. She also sits in with the band Sdrum in the Springfield area as a guest singer.
